Never going to see another. We were super fortunate when offered this very early Pontiac Neon Sign.
This is an original Neon sign, not drilled for neon. This is the earliest Neon Pontiac Sign we have ever seen for the Chief logo. Could be as early as 1926.
We cleaned and detailed the original Porcelain face, NO TOUCH UP OR RESTORATION was done to the porcelain signs. The sign was then reassembled on a new commercial sign can and electrified by all the best components. This sign features 3, heavy magnetic type transformers and additionally a Mechanical Flasher that has the SERVICE & PARTS sections flashing on and off. Beautiful effect and we can send a video of this in operation. Please take a moment and look at the quality of the Neon work on the sign and especially the Chief logo.
So many of these signs are just difficult to look at due to the poor work. We take a lot of pride in the fact that our neon work represents the quality and detail that would have been demanded in its original time. Love this piece and love the work.
This is a large sign measuring 6'x5'. This is the high end piece your collection has been hoping for. We do some of the very best mechanical restorations in the nation. Our porcelain neons are better made when completed than they initially left their factory. You will be pleased with this piece and be looking forward to more business with us once it arrives.See our other listings for more great original advertising, and as always....
